Do you have to give us the personal information we ask for?

You are not obliged to provide your personal information to us when generally navigating our website, however we will be unable to fulfill any requests/queries if personal information is not given. 


Do we process information about you without any human intervention at all?

Yes, at times we may use automated systems/processes and automated decision-making (like profiling) to ensure you have a bespoke experience.

How long do you keep my personal information for?

We will keep your information for as long as you wish to receive our communications and thereafter for any information that needs to be retained in order to meet our business, legal or regulatory responsibilities.

Sharing with third parties

What are your rights?

  • Erasure. You have a right to have your personal data erased. Upon erasure, all data is destroyed and un-recoverable. Any data received as a result of a transaction occurring on the Trentside Radio website will be kept as long as legally required.

  • Restriction. You have the right to restrict our use of personal information if the data is inaccurate, our use of the information is unlawful or if we no longer need to use the data for the purposes for which we hold it.

You have the right to have your personal data presented in an electronic format and to transmit such data to another data controller, where this is (a) personal data which you have provided to us and (b) if we are processing that data on the basis of your consent (such as your marketing preference information)

We will only send marketing communications to you via email or other means where you have consented that we may do so.

Where we send marketing communications to you via email, you may opt out of receiving any further marketing communications by clicking the ‘unsubscribe’ or ‘opt-out’ function in the email.
